Join us for a fun, hands-on 12-week creative program designed for kids aged 8+! Held Mondays at 4pm in Camden, these 1-hour weekly classes are packed with engaging, skill-building activities in both woodcraft, sewing and art.
Program Runs from 20th April to 6th July
Wood craft & Creative Art Session
Taught by local crafters and fellow mum,s these classes introduce children to a variety of creative techniques and controlled risk in woodwork, sewing and Creative Arts :

Wood Craft – The children will get to use hand tools like hammers, egg beater hand drills, screwdrivers and hand planes to make a flower press and insect house
- Sewing – The children will get to use our inhouse sewing machines to make their own, texta roll holders, book pillow case, tote bag and apron.
- Creative Arts – There are 5 creative art lessons where a new skill is learnt each week. learning new techniques and using a wide range of materials the children will learn the basics of mosaic, have fun with tie dye, mould air dry clay, twist wire into insects, and have fun with textured art.

This is not a drop and leave service. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Weekly on Mondays at 4.00pm
45min – 1hr Session (approx)
$35 Per Session – Booked as a whole term.
$420 Full terms for all 12 weeks.

Neurodivergent & Sensory-Friendly Sessions
- Small group classes for comfort and calm
- Low lighting to reduce sensory overload
- No background music
- A tub of shared fidget toys available during class
Dyslexia-Friendly Options
- Worksheets can be printed on coloured paper (with pre-arrangement)
- We also offer coloured reading aid sheets in 8 different shades on site
Wheelchair Accessible & Friendly Environment
- Ramp access and disabled toilet available
- Height-adjustable tables for comfort and inclusion
Allergy-Conscious & Safe Space
- Workshop space is sterilized before each session
- Workshop area is completely nut, gluten, egg, dairy, and corn free
Age Can Just Be A Number
- Do you have a child who might be behind or ahead in learning?
- Our sessions connect more with the Stages of the NSW Syllabus outcomes rather then ages.
- So if your child is a prodigy like Sheldon Cooper or is developmentally behind, give us a call and we are happy to work with you on finding a session that works best for your child.
We are committed to making sure every child can feel safe, seen, and celebrated in our classes.
Terms and Conditions
- All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is not a drop and leave service.
- All bookings are non refundable. Make up session will not be issued for missed lessons.
- This is a class that does involved supervised risk, precautions are in place but you will be required to sign a liability waiver before taking place in the class.
- We ask that all children and adults show respect to the teacher, each other and the space around them
- In order to keep the space allergy controlled, all classes have a no food policy. You are welcome to bring a drink bottle to class but no food please.
- Space is a Corn and Nut free space due to anaphylaxis of some of the children who attend
- All resources remain the property of Camden Markets and both physically and intellectually.
- All lessons are prepared with the NSW syllabus in mind, but we are not educators, just home schoolers and local artist and small businesses.
- All reporting and ultimate alignment to syllabus lies with the parent.
