These Terms & Conditions apply to all sellers participating in The 10 Piece Edit at Camden Markets Collective.
I the licensee am agreeing to enter into a contract with The Markets and Events Company Pty Ltd trading as Camden Markets Collective 2570 (“Camden Markets”) for the purpose of renting shelf/space within the store.
I do so with full intent and understanding that there is a financial risk and there is no guarantee of sales.
By booking a display space, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking
The 10 Piece Edit is available for $40 per booking, which includes:

A two (2) week display period, 14 calendar days starting on the.

Display of up to ten (10) items, this can include bags max 2, shoes max 2.

Barcode creation and label printing.
-
Administration and item setup.
-
Social media promotion.
-
Daily merchandising and presentation.
-
Coat hangers included
A 15% commission will be deducted from the final selling price of each item sold.
Bookings are confirmed only after full payment has been received.
Rental fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Bookings are to be paid in full before the start of the 14 day period via invoice issued via Xero.
– Payments made via invoice link sent to your listed email, failure to pay invoice on time may result in forfeiture of goods.
– There is a 7 day failed payment discretion period, you have 7 days to play the invoice after it is due. If this is not met further action will be taken.
– After the 7 day failed payment discretion period has lapsed, notice of void of contract will be made.
– Items on display will be held until payment is made.
– If payment is not made within 14 days of due date, items are forfeited and debt collectors may be used

All items must be:

Freshly washed.

Free from stains, odours, excessive wear and damage.

In excellent, saleable condition.

Suitable for the current season.

Fully owned by the seller.

Ironed/steamed
Camden Markets Collective reserves the right to refuse, remove or decline any item considered unsuitable for sale.
3. Authenticity
Counterfeit, replica or imitation designer goods will not be accepted.
Designer items must be accompanied by proof of authenticity, such as:
Any item suspected of being counterfeit will be removed immediately.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items cannot be sold:

Counterfeit goods

Underwear
-
lingerie
-
Swimwear
-
Anko/kmart, SHEIN, Temu, items with no labels.

Stolen property
-
Unsafe or recalled products
-
Adult material
-
Weapons
-
Hazardous goods
-
Food or beverages
-
Cosmetics or personal care products that have been opened or used
-
Any item prohibited by Australian law
5. Pricing
Sellers are responsible for pricing their own items.
Camden Markets Collective reserves the right to discuss pricing where an item is considered significantly over-priced or incorrectly labelled.
Items cannot be sold without an official Camden Markets Collective barcode.
6. Barcode & Administration
The booking fee includes:
Items without official barcodes cannot be sold.
7. Display & Merchandising
Camden Markets Collective may:
Items may occasionally be relocated within the store for merchandising purposes.
8. Social Media & Marketing
By participating in The 10 Piece Edit, you grant Camden Markets Collective permission to photograph, film and promote your items across:

Website
-
Advertising
-
Email marketing
-
In-store displays
No royalties or compensation are payable for promotional use.
9. Commission & Payments
A commission of 15% will be deducted from each sale.
Seller proceeds will be paid via bank transfer within 7–10 business days after the booking concludes.
Payments are made only by electronic bank transfer.
It is the seller’s responsibility to provide correct banking details. Camden Markets Collective is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect banking information supplied by the seller.
10. Unsold Items
Unsold items must be collected on the final day of the booking.
If collection is required by staff:
Storage after the booking period is charged at:
Items remaining after five (5) days without prior arrangement may be donated, repurposed or otherwise disposed of at Camden Markets Collective’s discretion.
11. Care of Goods
Camden Markets Collective will take reasonable care of all items while they are on display.
However, selling pre-loved goods in a retail environment carries inherent risks, including accidental damage, customer handling and theft.
While we have security measures in place, Camden Markets Collective cannot guarantee against loss, theft or damage arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including burglary, vandalism, fire, flooding or other unforeseen incidents.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Lost Property
Items found after a booking has ended will be held for two (2) weeks.
After this period, unclaimed property becomes the property of Camden Markets Collective.
13. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Bookings may be rescheduled with at least 14 days’ written notice, subject to availability.
Cancellations made with less than 14 days’ notice are not eligible for a refund.
If a seller does not commence their booking within two (2) days of the scheduled start date and has not contacted Camden Markets Collective, the booking may be cancelled without refund.
14. No Guarantee of Sales
Camden Markets Collective does not guarantee that any item will sell.
Sales depend on factors including:

Brand
-
Size
-
Style
-
Season
-
Pricing
-
Customer demand
-
Overall presentation
15. Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final.
As Camden Markets Collective sells goods on behalf of individual sellers, refunds or exchanges are not offered for change of mind.
Customer rights under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply where required.
16. Limitation of Service
Camden Markets Collective reserves the right to:
18. General Terms
– The Camden Markets Collective is located at 157 Argyle Camden is run by The Markets and Events Company Pty Ltd trading as Camden Markets 2570 here after referred to as Camden Markets.
– This Agreement is a licence to occupy shelf/space for display and sale purposes. It does not create a lease or tenancy, nor confer any interest in land.
– 157 Argyle Street, Camden is a heritage listed building and is subject to be treated as one.
– Camden Markets takes pride in its work and shop and asks that you respect the area, displays, building, staff and customers.
– The Camden Markets is a collective shop, meaning the shop as a whole is a collection of a number of small businesses displaying and selling their items in a collective location. This works similar to a market but all one permanent location.
– We ask that you only display products that are in full working order and of a high quality.
– We ask that all items have been quality controlled and tested in line with Australian guidelines and wholesale laws.
– We ask that you please respect all staff, management and customers. There is a no tolerance policy for rudeness, bullying, harassment and violence.
19. Space allocation
– The allocation and location of shelfs and space is at the discretion of Camden Markets
– The renters space can be changed at any time as long as it is the same or greater space then given at time of contract.
– All items must have barcode via square, you will be given a square login for your items, this will allow you to issue barcodes, these must be stuck on all items before they are displayed in the store.
– A Item Price must be clearly displayed at all times.
– Space /shelf may be rotated around the shop without notice in order to refresh the shop and entice customers, this is done at the discretion of Camden Markets.
– Shop display cabinet at will be filled at the discretion of management
– Care will be taken to have your items not appear next to items that are similar but this cannot be guaranteed.
20. Non disclosure
– The licensee is not allowed to disclose to any third parties the profits, revenue made from the sale of their items at the shop.
– The licensee is not allowed to disclose to any third parties the business workings of Camden Markets Shop
– The licensee is not allowed to disclose to any third parties privileged information given to the renter during their time as part of the shop.
– The licensee is not allowed to disclose to any third parties the contract or terms issued to them unless legally required to do so.
– Camden Markets will not disclose your details to any third party unless legally required to do so.
– Camden Markets holds all copyrights of its items, ideas, advertising, marketing and other items that may be issued to you while a renter at the shop.
21. Acceptance
By paying the booking fee and submitting items for sale, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
